Technical Consultant

The SUCCESSFUL candidate will be responsible for:

• for visiting growers and inspecting crops

• advising on the level of pest and disease within the crop

• offering solutions involving biological control measures 

The IDEAL person will possess:

• extensive knowledge in Entomology, Agronomy and/or Plant Sciences

• experience in the culture and husbandry of horticultural crops, with emphasis on pest and disease control.

• Good communication skills are essential, as is the ability to be self-motivated, and after appropriate training, work largely unsupervised.

• If not yet BASIS qualified, the successful applicant will be given the opportunity to attain BASIS registration.
